Professional development program for physical education teachers in Indonesia

Enhancing the quality of teachers has been a global challenge, and government responded to this issue by providing various programs for teachers’ capacity upgrading This study aims at designing professional development program sports health physical education in Indonesia. Using research approach Borg Gall model, is obtain comprehensive results an understanding program. The preliminary findings indicate that face some obstacles teaching learning activities, although they have followed coaching programs. development, therefore. proposed consists three primary documents: initiated design, implementation guidelines, evaluation prescription. Judgment experts, principals, indicated was proven valid, practical, effective be used as assistance model schools. practical managerial implications are also provided writing.
